Boyfriends' 23rd @ Dazzling Cafe

I know this is a really old post because my boyfriend's birthday is 16 August.
I was always curious on how special dazzling cafe's dessert was, and really wanted to try it out. There were many reviews about it that said that it was over-priced and not worth the hype when it first came to Singapore. Well, we decided to try for ourselves.
I usually have lessons on Tuesdays afternoon which ends at 3. So initially we decide to just head to the outlet at Capitol Piazza since it was so near SMU for tea. But temptation overwhelmed so we decided to just have our meals there lol. Here's what we ordered, and recommended by their staff too:

We weren't very much in chocolate mood that day so we ordered the Strawberry Lover Honey Toast. IT WAS SO GOOD. We totally loved the custard in there and felt that it went pretty well with the strawberry. But of course, we also believed it'll be better with chocolate.
Overall, we spent about $70 which was pretty expensive given the proportion (
